Healthy Cooking & Food Preparation Lesson (one to one or family session) A valuable tool in achieving optimal health is learning to create healthy meals for yourself and your family.
This session is also highly recommended for teenagers or college students. It will teach them how to prepare healthy meals when they go off to University and will be away from home; instead of falling into the junk food take-out trap.
I can teach you to create, simple, delicious, healthy meals in the comfort of your home. Your lessons will entail the following: Healthy meals, breakfast, main dishes and healthy snacks. All of the meals will be simple to prepare (goal is from 5-45 minutes to table). I will leave you with a copy of the recipes which you can use as your shopping guide to recreate the meals.
Lessons are hands on. I will show you basic knife skills, food handling tips and teach you to create a flavor profile for your dishes as well as time the prepping and cooking of the meal so it all comes together seamlessly. I will help you build your shopping list so you can do the shopping ahead of time. I will also let you know ahead of time what equipment the recipes entail. I keep the recipes as simple as possible and limit equipment to a blender, food processor, knives, cutting board and basic cooking/prep dishes, oven and stove.
