What Is The Med Life Diet ? The Med Life Diet is a healthy eating and healthy lifestyle system which Barbara Karafokas, a qualified nutritionist, has developed over the past fifteen years. What is The Mediterranean Diet ?

The Mediterranean Diet is a well balanced diet to follow for life. The traditional Mediterranean diet consists of fruit and vegetables, beans and legumes, pulses, whole grains, nuts and seeds, fish, seafood, virgin olive oil, herbs, spices, garlic, moderate amounts of red wine, red meat is eaten once a week and most refined sugar and refined grain products such as white bread, cakes, cookies, saturated fat and processed foods high in sugar and refined grained products such as cakes and cookies are avoided.
