It is a confirmed carcinogen. It causes skin irritation, allergic and irritant contact dermatitis, headaches, fatigue and bronchial irritation. It is usually found in bubble bath, toothpaste, shampoo, nail polish, varnishes, enamels, embalming fluid, soap, mouthwash, mascara, permanent press and wrinkle resistant clothing. Cosmetics, carpets, plastics, particle board, plywood, building insulation, wick type room deodorisers, air fresheners, mold and mildew cleaners, and anti-dandruff shampoo. You may use organic cosmetics, essential oils and other products which are friendlier to the environment and your health. Read the ingredients and make sure that its not on the list !
