I love this recipe as it is super, quick, easy, delicious and nutritious. Which is great for busy people ! It took me 5minutes to prepare them. Can't get better than that.
90 g rolled oats 1 large banana mashed 1 tbsp sesame seeds 40g dark chocolate bits (instead of choc you can substitute, raisins, apricots, cranberries, dates) Mix all ingredients with a fork or spoon. Shape into cookies (about 5-6), place on tray lined with greaseproof paper. Cook in oven at 175C for 20-25minutes. I always double the recipe as single is definitely not enough for my familia ! :))

24/3/2017 1 Comment Bean Fajitas / VegetarianMade these last night. They were a hit with all the kids and adults. Super quick and easy to make with a few helping hands.
1 tin pinto beans (BPA free) 1 small carton crushed tomatoes 4 small onions chopped in semi-circle slices 1/2 packet frozen mixed colourful peppers slices (ice-line) - can use fresh if you have more time. i.e. 2 green, 2 red, 2 yellow cut in thin strips 1 tsp cumin 1 tsp turmeric 1 tsp veggie bouillon MSG free organic - low salt 1/4 cup water pinch black pepper and oregano 2 tbsp olive oil Saute the onions in a deep pan with olive oil over medium heat. Cook until onions are transparent. Add peppers and cook for another 2-3 minutes, then add cumin, turmeric and stir another 30 seconds. Throw in the rest of the ingredients and allow to simmer for about 15 minutes or until liquid has been reduced. Serve with tortilla wraps (warm each one in frying pan turning once - about 30 sec each side), grated carrot, cheese and guacamole. P.s. For chili lovers.... add lots of chili sauce on your one ! If you aren't making it for kids - you can put hot sauce or chili's whilst cooking it. |
